2. Eligibility

  • You must have the right to upload and analyze any photos you submit.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your usage.

3. Usage Limits and Fair Use

4. Content and Privacy

  • Uploaded photos are processed immediately and not permanently stored (see our Privacy Policy).
  • You must only upload photos of yourself or photos you have permission to analyze.

5. Acceptable Use

  • No illegal, harmful, harassing, discriminatory, or infringing content.
  • No uploading photos of minors without proper consent.
  • No attempts to reverse engineer, bypass security, or disrupt the Service.
  • No automated scraping, bot usage, or rate-limiting evasion.
  • No use of the Service to harass, bully, discriminate, or harm others based on ethnicity or any other characteristic.
  • No use of results for discriminatory purposes, profiling, or any unlawful activities.

6. Results Disclaimer

Important: Ethnicity test results are generated by AI algorithms analyzing visible facial features and are for entertainment purposes only. Predicted ethnicities are based on facial characteristics and may differ significantly from your actual genetic ancestry, cultural identity, or self-identified ethnicity. Results do not represent objective truth about your heritage, ancestry, or ethnic background. Facial features vary widely within ethnic groups due to genetics, mixed heritage, and individual variation. Ethnicity is complex and encompasses genetic, cultural, historical, and personal identity factors that cannot be determined solely from facial analysis. Do not use results to make important life decisions, for identity verification, or as a measure of personal value. Your worth and identity are not defined by any ethnicity prediction.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, trademarks, algorithms, and materials provided by Ethnicity Test are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as permitted in these Terms, you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, accuracy of ethnicity predictions, or specific outcomes. Ethnic facial analysis results may vary based on photo quality, lighting, angles, and other factors. The Service is not a substitute for genetic testing, genealogical research, or professional ancestry services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ethnicity Test and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. We are not responsible for any emotional distress, identity concerns, or other impacts resulting from ethnicity predictions.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue features and update these Terms. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms. We will indicate material changes by updating the "Effective Date" above.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service is operated.
